“The Next Trip.”  This is the time of the year where everyone finds him or herself daydreaming about “the next trip.”  Maybe you’re doing the same thing.  Maybe those cubicle walls are shrinking in ever so slightly.  Maybe that post-holiday workload is starting to creep up.  And maybe you’re noticing that the sunlight these days is getting just a bit longer.

That’s the best thing about the next trip: it’s on your terms.  Whether it’s Mt Rainier or Mt Rogers; Paris or the Palisades.  Or your own backyard.  So put down your pen and those files you’re working on, and pick up a dart to throw at the globe.

As you well know, Harrisonburg is blessed with opportunity upon opportunity for anyone who wants to pursue their outdoor passion.  We’re hoping this site will foster a better connection to our supporters and to all outdoor sports enthusiasts in the Valley by providing a forum for events, ideas, causes, and products that make everyone’s outdoor experiences that much better.
